A Celebration of Faith, Creativity and Inspiration: St. Dominic Savio Feast

On 10th July 2026, our school joyfully celebrated the Feast of St. Dominic Savio with great devotion and enthusiasm. The day commenced with a Holy Mass for the Catholic students, offering them an opportunity to reflect on the life and virtues of St. Dominic Savio. At the same time, a meaningful prayer service was conducted for the non-Catholic students, fostering the values of peace, respect, and unity. The celebrations encouraged every student to draw inspiration from the saint's exemplary life of faith, purity, and kindness.Following the spiritual celebrations, students participated enthusiastically in a variety of class-wise activities centred on the life and teachings of St. Dominic Savio. The students of Std. V expressed their creativity by colouring a picture of the young saint, while Std. VI took part in an engaging quiz that tested their knowledge of his life and values. The students of Std. VII designed attractive bookmarks featuring inspiring messages associated with St. Dominic Savio.The celebrations continued with Std. VIII created beautiful wall hangings that reflected the virtues and legacy of St. Dominic Savio. Students of Std. IX worked collaboratively to prepare informative and colourful group charts showcasing important events from his life and the values he lived by. These activities promoted creativity, teamwork, and a deeper appreciation of the saint's inspiring example.The Feast of St. Dominic Savio was a joyful and enriching celebration that beautifully combined prayer, learning, and creativity. It inspired students to follow the saint's example by practising kindness, obedience, faith, and service in their daily lives, making the day a memorable and meaningful experience for the entire school community.
